Mongoose Fables is a branching story reader and story studio that run in your browser, operated by Mongoose Athanor LLC. There is no account and no upload: what you type is processed in your browser and not sent to our servers. The story studio saves your draft, and the reader saves your place, in this browser (local storage) so they survive a reload. Clearing site data removes them. Nothing is sent to us.

What a visit sends

Loading a page sends an ordinary request to our host, which may keep routine security and performance logs. We use Cloudflare's aggregate, cookieless page-performance statistics; no advertising or tracking cookies.
